Currently Scott is working with the American Globe Theatre in New York City and with several private students. Scott has taught acting,
movement, text and combat since the earliest days of his theater career. This teaching process has always been an essential learning tool in helping to crystalize his technique. Leading a group of students requires a great deal of focus and demands communication clear enough not only for others to understand, but to internalize and make their own. Teaching highlights the need for precision and makes the teacher reexamine every detail of his craft.

For a teaching artist there is nothing more fulfilling than watching a young actor make discoveries or seeing a play come together. Often those discoveries lead to a better understanding of one’s own work.
